Basal & Squamous Cell
Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC)
BCC is the most common type of skin cancer. It can grow to a large size and cause significant tissue destruction if not treated. Fortunately, it rarely metastasizes (spreads). These cancers are usually excised (removed) without difficulty. The exception is when they are on the face, making removal much more challenging. Removal is usually curative.
Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC)
(SCC) is the second most common type of skin cancer. Like BCC, the best result is when the lesion is removed early.
