Dr. Bolick received his medical degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY and served two years (1970 - 1972) in the United States Army Medical Corps. Dr. Bolick was board certified by the American Board of Surgeons in 1976 and recertified in 1986, 1996 and 2006. He is a member of the Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons.
