Dr. Player is a native of Florence. He is a graduate of Princeton University in Princeton, N.J., and received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed a residency in general surgery at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg. Dr. Player is board certified in general surgery.
