Dr. Reynolds received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his internship at Temple University Hospital and his residency in surgery at The Graduate Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He also completed two years of fellowship training in Trauma Surgery and Surgical Critical Care at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.

At West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, Dr. Reynolds served as the Assistant Professor of Surgery, Interim Director of the Jon Michael Moore Trauma Center, at West Virginia University Hospital and Chief of the Section of Trauma, Emergency Surgery and Surgical Critical Care in the Department of Surgery.

Dr. Reynolds is board certified in general surgery.
